The ocarina is a wind musical instrument made of clay.
Ancient variations of this instrument have been found at multiple archaeological dig sites throughout the Americas.
The Mayan, Aztec, and Inca are among the first civilizations credited with early developments of the ocarina.
The instrument produces an uplifting vibrant sound as air flows in from the mouthpiece. Different notes can be played by covering the holes on the face of the ocarina.
